Privacy Policy

On this site we only collect what you type into the waitlist form: your name, your email address and the journals you are interested in. We also record the date you signed up and which page the sign-up came from.

To reply to you, to tell you when a journal you chose opens for testing or launches, and to send occasional Palate Digital news. Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time.

Your details are stored in our hosted database and sent through our email delivery provider so we can write to you. We do not sell your details and we do not share them for anyone else’s marketing.

Until the journals you chose have launched and you have had a reasonable chance to join, or until you ask us to delete your record — whichever comes first. Unsubscribing removes you from mailings; asking us to delete removes the record entirely.

The journals on our subdomains — for example wine.palatedigital.com — hold accounts, tasting data and, where relevant, payment records, and publish their own privacy notices. This notice covers only palatedigital.com.

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to privacy@palatedigital.com. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Only the storage needed to make the pages work is used.
