Accessibility

We work towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. In practice that means readable colour contrast, text that scales, meaningful headings, form labels and alternatives for images, and pages that can be used with a keyboard alone.

Some decorative photography is used at large sizes and may be slow on older connections. We are still improving focus visibility in a few places. If you meet a barrier we have not listed, please tell us.

Each journal on a Palate Digital subdomain publishes its own accessibility statement, because the features and testing differ from this site.
